David penned this Psalms when he was reflecting on how God had been a father to him. Again and again, David had witnessed how God his Father had faithfully delivered him from the hand of the enemy repeatedly. From the bear to the lion, from the giant Philistines, and Saul. Over and over David had experienced God being his father. Those of us who have walked with God over time have also experienced God’s fatherly ways.
